POV - Student 3

Sasha is a 23 year old college senior studying for her final exam, sitting cross-legged in her bedroom while taking notes and reading her textbook. She is focused, eyes shifting between the book and her screen as she types steadily. She shifts positions on the bed, laying on her stomach to take more notes. From behind the open door a masked Intruder watches Sasha as she studies. He pushes the door open and sneaks inside while Sasha concentrates on writing in her notebook. The Intruder gets close to Sasha on the bed and then grabs her textbook, slamming it shut. Sasha looks up to him in surprise but before she can react he smashes the book against her head and knocks her out cold.

The Intruder takes out a pair of handcuffs and clamps them down on Sasha’s wrist. He grabs her other arm as she starts to wake up and struggle. He gets the other cuff around her wrist, binding her arms behind her back. Sasha twists and jerks trying to rise but the Intruder pins her down on the bed. She shakes from terror and looks to the attacker with wide eyes as he brushes hair out of her face. The man’s hands clamp around Sasha’s throat and squeeze hard, fingers digging in as he holds her down into the mattress. Sasha kicks her legs into the air, arching her back and shaking her hands as she tries to move free. Her eyes bulged with panic and the man’s grip continues to tighten.

Sasha manages to jab her knee into the Intruder and momentarily destabilizes him. He falls to the side but keeps a tight grip on Sasha. She rolls to her side and struggles against him while they are face to face. She kicks her feet at him and twists her handcuffed hands around to try and push him away. The Intruder keeps staring closely at Sasha as her mouth gasps for air and she pleads for mercy. Sasha’s strength begins to falter while the Intruder squeezes harder, unrelenting. The attacker picks Sasha up from the mattress and holds her upright on the bed. Her feet fall over the edge and flail wildly as she tries to pull away but keeps getting held back. Her tongue sticks out far as her eyes get more bleary and unfocused from the unrelenting force.

Sasha lets out a final scream of terror as the Intruder pushes her back down onto the bed. Her voice is cut off as the pressure tightens with his hands crushing as strongly as they can. Her eyes water as they go wide and roll back. Her tongue protrudes and her gasps for air turn into gurgles. Her feet slide against the mattress and she begins to twitch wildly as her body gives in to the lack of oxygen. Her eyes freeze open in a death stare as she lets out a final rattle of air. Her last convulsions shudder through her limbs before she falls limp, head falling to the side. The killer holds on tightly for a few more long moments ensuring her stillness. His hands finally unclasp and reveal a dark bruise imprinted across her neck. He runs his hand along her face, brushing her hair aside and stroking her lifeless features. He manipulates her body gently, turning her over and lifting her head then letting it fall. He picks up her phone from the nightstand and snaps a variety of pictures of the crime scene. To finish it off he poses Sasha’s body with a photo from her nightstand as well as her study materials, taking a few final photos before exiting out the door he came from.
