Final Delivery

Savannah walks across a parking lot carrying a pizza box and scrolling through her phone. She gets into her car, sets the pizza on the seat, and starts her GPS. She complains about the drive but follows the directions. She arrives at a house in a remote area and can’t see the exact address. Unsure if it is the right house, she decides to approach anyway.

At the front door she rings the bell and knocks. She waits and waits, repeatedly knocking on the door and trying the doorbell. She hears noises inside and leans in to listen. Suddenly the door opens and a man stands inside, tall and expressionless. Savannah introduces herself as the delivery driver and asks if she’s at the right house. Richard stares at her blankly before confirming his pizza order. When she asks for payment, he insists she come inside. He claims to be a high ranking member of the military and says he needs to verify her identity before taking the order. Savannah is confused but reluctant to go inside but he is insistent so she agrees to go in anyway.

Savannah enters the house with the pizza and Richard closes the door behind her. He tells Savannah to remove her shoes so as not to make his house dirty. She does so reluctantly and waits as Richard goes to get the money. He leaves the room and Savannah walks around inside then taps her feet against the floor impatiently. Richard calls out from the other room to confirm her full name and identity. He asks her to come to the other room to grab the money from him. Savannah complains but steps forward into the living room, which appears empty. She calls out to Richard but gets no response. Fed up with the situation she turns to leave.

As she walks out of the room, Richard storms down the stairs wielding a baseball bat. Before Savannah can react he strikes her on the head and knocks her to the ground. He leans over her and runs his hand through her hair. Savannah wakes up and reacts in panic. Richard shouts at her and begins choking her with both of his hands around her neck. She slaps at him and kicks but cannot break free. Her eyes roll and she gasps for air as Richard squeezes tighter, keeping a knee on her midsection. Savannah’s feet slip and slide against the floor as she is pushed down and held tight down on the ground. She wiggles and tries to get free, so Richard sits on top of her pinning Savannah down with his full weight. He looks closely at her face as she struggles, gasping and gagging for air while his hands remain tight around her neck.

After much struggle Savannah’s arms fall back and her legs slow down their kicking. Her eyes screw shut tightly and her arms fall back onto the floor and she stops moving. Richard keeps on squeezing tightly even though Savannah has stopped moving. After a few long moments laying still, Savannah reveals she was faking unconsciousness. She gasps sharply for air but can hardly get any with all the pressure his hands apply. He grins at her evilly as she continues to struggle wildly under him.

Richard gets up on his legs while keeping his hand clenched around Savannah’s throat. He stand up and drags her up in the air in a throatlift. Her feet kick the air as he holds Savannah up off the ground squeezing her neck as hard as he can. Her mouth opens wide while her eyes roll into the back of her head from all the pressure. Richard keeps her held up in the air for a time, then returns her feet to the ground while never relenting his grip around her throat. Savannah claws at his hands but is too weak to resist the force. Richard spins her around and finally lets Savannah get a breath. She begs and pleads with her final breathes as his hands hold her in place by the head and neck. As she cries out in terror Richard twists his hands and snaps her neck while she is still struggling. Savannah falls to the ground spasming then goes completely limp, dead with her eyes open and her body laid out on the ground. Richard looks over her form then lifts her up into an over the shoulder carry and brings her lifeless body upstairs to another room.

Later Richard steps into the kitchen and looks over what was left there. He opens the pizza box and eats a slice. He grabs Savannah’s shoes and opens a drawer next to the fridge, revealing a trophy collection of shoes form other victims each labeled with a sticky note telling their name, profession, and his personal rating. Richard grabs a marker and sticky note then writes Savannah Pizza Girl on the label, sticking it to one her shoes and storing both them in his trophy collection.
